1. You have chosen the wrong program
Typically, home workouts consist of simple exercises like push-ups, squats and lunges, deadlifts and presses with light fitness dumbbells. Such a program is suitable for those who want to maintain health, strengthen muscles and slightly increase overall endurance.
If your goals are to lose weight, build muscle mass or develop strength, you need a specific program.
2. You do not increase the load
Often people find a workout program, get used to it and don’t want to change anything.
At first, the exercises seem difficult. You struggle to complete the approaches, suffer from muscle pain in the morning and rejoice at the small positive changes, whether it is an increased biceps or a minus centimeter in the waist.
Over time, the body adapts, and for further progress you need to increase the volume of training, but you are already used to the program and perform it on automatic, without thinking about more.
Your body feels comfortable and good, but progress stops.
